Between 2021 and 2023, I decided to start a small business and provided photography / photo manipulation / photo illustration to anybody who wants a unique keepsake for themselves, their friends or family. Besides, I worked on some art pieces for sale. Here are some of my projects I worked on:
I did it! After two rewarding years of study, I've officially received my College Entrance Qualification. I was fortunate to spend one of those years gaining invaluable experience through an internship at a special school, working alongside truly wonderful children.
I completed a State-Certified Vocational Training as a Technical Design Assistant (staatlich geprüfte Berufsausbildung zur Gestaltungstechnischen Assistentin) at the Berufliche Schule der FAW gGmbH in Fürstenwalde, Germany. Motivated by my passion for visual communication, I received hands-on training in media production, design fundamentals, typography, illustration, photography, and print layout. During this time, I also completed an internship as a product photographer, applying my classroom knowledge in a real-world setting. My coursework included building basic websites with HTML/CSS, studying hardware and media production workflows, exploring design theory, practicing hand-drawn typography and illustration, carving materials in studio workshops, and creating professional print projects using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
I attended web development classes at Dr. Galwelat Cimdata GmbH, a vocational training academy (Bildungsakademie) in Berlin, Germany, where I earned a Vocational Qualification in Multimedia Development, Web Page, and Digital/Multimedia Information Design. Building on my earlier training as a Technical Design Assistant, I deepened my interest in web technologies, taking courses that expanded my skills across HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, and Typo3. Over the eight-month program, I completed coursework ranging from basic web design and HTML5 to advanced JavaScript, PHP/MySQL, and multimedia content management, gaining hands-on experience in building dynamic and responsive websites.
I could finally perform my acquired knowledge in practical situations which helped me gain even more experience. I worked with Adobe Creative Suite, also I have edited and created websites with HTML5 and CSS3, Javascript, Bootstrap and JQuery, and created responsive websites.
The Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert, at the invitation of the Ridgecresdout BLM office, was hosting a Wilderness Photo Contest in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. I did not hesitate to take some photographs of the beautiful nature at Owens Peak, California. In that same contest, I came in first place once, and twice in second place.
I studied Web Design and Development at Cerro Coso Community College, where I earned my Web Professional Associate of Science degree. During this time, I completed coursework in PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop, building a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end web technologies. I also earned Certificates of Achievement in Web Fundamentals and Web Professional, along with Associate of Arts degrees in Liberal Arts—Arts & Humanities and Liberal Arts—Social & Behavioral Sciences.

My initial professional chapter was a fantastic one: working for a NASA contractor. I was blessed with a truly great team and a supportive team lead, which allowed me to thrive while gaining crucial experience in website management and customer service. Handling complex projects remotely throughout the pandemic was a unique challenge that proved incredibly rewarding.
Continued with an exciting professional path, going headfirst into the technical world, ensuring both Windows and Linux servers and workstations were consistently up and running. This involved a lot of detective work, from crafting clever PowerShell and Bash scripts to aggressively troubleshooting the kind of bizarre computer issues you never thought were even possible. It's been a wild ride of learning, proving I can conquer almost anything in the digital realm.
